Hello all of my fellow Fuquay Coworking Adventure Team (FCAT) members! First, thanks to all of you who rucked or walked last year’s American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) Fuquay-Varina Out of the Darkness Community Walk. It was pretty special to see you all in the pictures that were taken-especially now that I work with you here at Fuquay Coworking!
There is an official FCAT event set up on the AFSP Fuquay-Varina Out of the Darkness Community Walk website and some of you have already registered and donated to the team-thank you! For those of you who would like to join the FCAT Team on Walk day, just follow the link: Fuquay Coworking Adventure Team to register and donate today. If you are unable to attend the Walk, you may still register as a Virtual Walker, AND, if you raise $150 or more (by Walk day), you will receive the beautiful Walk T-Shirt pictured in this post.
The AFSP Fuquay-Varina Out of the Darkness Community Walk is on Sunday, September 24th, 2017. It will take place at South Park and the Jeff Wells Environmental Greenway. Registration begins at 1 PM and the festivities kick off at 2 PM with speakers, a live band, face painters and more. Oh, and Zaxby’s is providing FREE food to all registered participants again this year! WooHoo!
Saving lives and bringing hope to suicide loss survivors has become one of my passions since losing my beloved brother, John, to severe depression in 2005. Thank you for helping to support this cause that is so near and dear to me and so many others. If you would like to donate to my personal team, “Team John”, please click on the link: Team John
I appreciate all of your support and I hope to see you at the Walk!
