At Fuquay Coworking, we truly believe in WORKING hard, PLAYING hard, and CREATING amazing things… and few individuals work as hard as the men and women of our Military, Fire, Law Enforcement, EMT, and Public Safety sectors.
We recognize that due to the often “unique” working schedules of these individuals, many of them also run small businesses (and projects) on the side. We wanted to give back to the Fuquay-Varina Community, and especially to those who protect the community in which we live and work, so we created the “Hometown Heroes” Initiative.

In a world where most things are discarded, we believe there’s value in the ability for individuals to fix things themselves. In response to a growing movement of reuse and recycle, Fuquay Coworking has setup a “Fix-It Lab” to serve as a hub of knowledge and creativity, focused around the challenge of finding solutions to fixing broken items people choose to bring in.
Members of Fuquay Coworking, including volunteers, dedicate time and expertise to assisting individuals find solutions to their broken items. While there is no guarantee that every item can be fixed, the experience is more than worth it.
In addition to the “Fix-It Lab” events, there will also be a series of workshops designed to introduce community members to various maintenance and repair skills that can save individuals time and money.

Designed for millennials and individuals seeking to broaden their personal skill sets, Fuquay Coworking has created a series of workshops to promote personal growth in a world where “adulting is hard…”
Workshop participants will learn invaluable skills, tips, and tricks often not taught in schools, and often missed by parents in today’s dual income family structure.
We provide a judgement-free environment where participants can learn, ask questions, and grow as independent individuals, regardless of their individual situations.
“Adulting Co-Lab” workshops will be posted on the Fuquay Coworking Events Page, and are open to the public.
