Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What is Coworking?
Collaborative Working (“Coworking”) is a global movement that is helping today’s generation of entrepreneurs and creators to realize their vision through collaborative efforts in shared creative spaces.
Members are part of a community of like-minded individuals, startup businesses, and nonprofits. Physical and technological resources are shared, including the invaluable ideas, expertise, and knowledge among the membership.
Businesses, nonprofits, designers, and freelancers utilize coworking spaces to reduce overhead costs associated with traditional office environments.
Collaborative Community of Creators
A vital aspect of any coworking community, is the creative caliber of the members within it. Fuquay Coworking is committed to diversifying our community of entrepreneurs. Good ideas come from open-minded entrepreneurs, but great ideas are the ones enhanced through the feedback and expertise of other creators.

Is My First Visit Truly Free?
Yes. While coworking has caught on like a wildfire across the globe, there any still many communities that have never experienced a coworking environment. New visitors are welcome to a complimentary Day Pass to work at our space for a first-hand experience of what it’s all about.
What Is A “Shared Desk?”
Members have several options in regards to working areas. “Shared Desks,” are communal desks available for members to use as they please. If you see an unoccupied desk, you’re welcome to use it.
What Is A “Dedicated Desk?”
Unlike “Shared Desks,” Dedicated Desks are desks that are assigned to specific members. These members are also provided with a private whiteboard and filing cabinet.
What Is A “Dedicated Office Suite?”
Office suites are unfurnished private offices ranging from 80 to 170 sq ft, and provide those members with a secure and private working area while still being able to enjoy the amenities, common areas, and collaborative nature of the coworking space.
What Should I Bring?
Our members come from a variety of industries, sectors, and professions. We provide the collaborative space and office technology to help you enhance your productivity. Members should bring the necessary items you’ll need to be productive in your work, and within reason.
Love Whiteboards? We Do Too!
Fuquay Coworking features several large whiteboards available for members to use to enhance their creative processes. “Dedicated Desk” members will also be provided with private whiteboards.
Member Discounts
Fuquay Coworking members enjoy special discounts available through partnerships with local businesses and restaurants.
Why Is There A Game Room & Lounge?
When we set off on our mission to bring the creative and collaboration-rich environments of Research Triangle Park (and Silicon Valley) to Southern Wake County, we wanted to make it unique and fun. Having been invited to exciting offices like Google, we wanted to have a place where our members could go to unwind between projects.
What’s It Like to Work Here?
Our members believe in working hard and producing quality products and services, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have fun while doing it. The coworking spaces are relaxed and comfortable areas with just the right amount of ambient sound to break up the silence.
Members enjoy the shared creativity from other members, and during the lunch hour, can often be found competing against each other over a few friendly video game matches, or an intense round of board games and/or chess.
Our community of entrepreneurs and creators share the vision and commitment to a work-space that inspires instead of hinders the creative process.
