Fuquay-Varina Fix-It Lab
In a world where most things are discarded, we believe there’s value in the ability for individuals to fix things themselves. In response to a growing movement of reuse and recycle, Fuquay Coworking has setup a “Fix-It Lab” to serve as a hub of knowledge and creativity, focused around the challenge of finding solutions to fixing broken items people choose to bring in.
We are not a repair service, but a meeting space where individuals come together to repair broken items. In general, please only bring items that you can carry with you. Large items like TVs, Washer/Dryers, and such are not appropriate for this type of event.
Members of Fuquay Coworking, including volunteers, dedicate time and expertise to assisting individuals find solutions to their broken items. While there is no guarantee that every item can be fixed, the experience is still more than worth the effort.
We provide this benefit to the Fuquay-Varina community as a way to give-back and support the local families. The Fix-It Lab is free of charge, but a voluntary donation is appreciated, and will help to provide tools and misc supplies to keep the program going.
