Fuquay Coworking, by Empowered Ideas, is a creative coworking space designed for local entrepreneurs — by entrepreneurs. Our mission is to foster creative entrepreneurial development through a creative environment, resources, and access to business services successful entrepreneurs need. We bring the resources and knowledge of enterprise business to local small business owners, in a safe and pressure-free environment, and without the need to invest in expensive office space and equipment.

Young Creators Program (YCP)

Middle & High School Student Memberships for Future Entrepreneurs

The Young Creators’ Program (YCP) by Fuquay Coworking offers Fuquay-Varina students access to a fun and creative environment, including accessibility to mentors from various industries and fields. The program is designed to be small, adaptive, and highly customized based on the needs of the students, therefore, student memberships are limited in quantity.

 

At the parent’s discretion, students in the program will have the opportunity to be paired with a mentor, based on the student’s interests and/or career aspirations.

 

This environment and collaborative community, helps to facilitate and nurture personal and professional growth, and provides an ideal foundation for creative projects, academic endeavors, and mentoring opportunities.

 

Student members enrolled in the Young Creators Program are considered “official members” of Fuquay Coworking, and will have access to all the same amenities and benefits as adult members, and will be treated to the same courtesy, respect, and community energy as all Fuquay Coworking members enjoy.

 

 

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Teens/Students, Ages 13 Through 18
  • Must Thrives In Creative Environments
  • Valid Wake or Harnett County Student ID
  • Willingness to Help Fellow Peers/Students
  • Parent/Guardian Approval
  • Exemplary Work Ethic While Having Fun

* YCP members will have the benefit of priority eligibility to join the FV LEGO Robotics Club (application and approval required).
