FUQUAY-VARINA, NC – DEC. 2020: Fuquay Coworking is proud to be an Official Program Visitor Partner with the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary (USCGAUX).

The United States Coast Guard and Coast Guard Auxiliary have a key, community outreach program called the “Recreational Boating Safety Visitation Program.” The goal of the program is to educate the recreational boater about boating safety. In fact, the Coast Guard considers this to be “Job #1” for the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. The USCG Auxiliary achieves this through two principal ways: through highly-respected public education classes, and the distribution of State and Federal boating safety literature.

As a USCGAUX RBSPV Partner, complimentary Recreational Boating Safety (RBS) materials and information is available at Fuquay Coworking to anyone interested, and includes informational materials for power boating, sailing, kayaking, and canoeing enthusiasts.

The off-season is a good time to brush up on your seamanship skills, knowledge, and to ensure that your equipment and vessels are properly maintained for safety. 😎👍
